For the past 3 days and nights there has been a ‘party’ happening right next to the hotel. Set up in the street , tables , chairs and endless supply of food and drinks. People gathered mostly in formal attire and some wearing traditional Buddhist clothing. I thought it was a wedding, as the celebrations can last for a week. i had no idea it was a funeral. In fact the moment i learned this was when the moment came when the funeral casket was carried out of the home. i was expecting to see a beautiful bride. The live music carried way into the night and started way too early every morning, to the point of losing sleep. I filmed the moment the casket was led out. Was a sombre moment for the many that had gathered, most were neighbours and local business owners.
